Shinken is a nagios based advanced http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/23104.html "> monitoring system, redesigned and written on a nagios basis while maintaining compatibility. It can be used to monitor all it devices in the system to end user applications. If the problem is found in the monitoring process, shinken the first time to remind the Operation engineer, so that they can repair in time. It has the same functionality as Nagios, as well as more advanced built-in facilities such as load balancing and high availability monitoring.

The Shinken 0.8 version adds a new web interface.
