Social game developer King goes beyond Zynga

AppData's data show that the total number of active users in King Games has reached 150.2 million, surpassing Zynga's 149.9 million. King has now hired investment bank JPMorgan Chase, Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill Lynch as the joint securities underwriter of the company's IPO.

Zynga has just announced in Monday that it will be the company's chief executive, Tang Matrick, president of Interactive Entertainment from Microsoft, Mattrick. Zynga has dominated the social gaming market with games like farm games "FarmVille". The company has also been one of the most successful third-party companies to rely on the Facebook platform. In March 2012, King's independent access user was only 20 million. King was founded in 2003, and currently nearly half of the company's users are mobile users.

King started his casual games and took 2011 years to get into the Facebook platform.
