Taipei European Chamber of Commerce: cross-strait signing of ECFA to facilitate foreign investment in Taiwan

European business also believes that Europe, the world's largest economy, is the first to invest in foreign investment, so it is recommended that Taiwan should actively promote and Europe's "trade Revitalization Measures" Agreement (TEM), once signed, Taiwan and European economies in the bilateral export trade in 2-5 years is expected to increase by 21.6 billion euros. European businessmen believe that the "Trade revitalization measures" Agreement has been discussed for a long, and now only concrete implementation. European businessmen also believe that once Taiwan and China have established close trade relations with Europe, they will be able to strengthen Taiwan's pivotal position in the Asian market region.
