Texas Instruments executives say arm CPUs will apply to all markets

Texas Instruments purchased ARM's processor licenses for its OMAP mobile application. The current generation of OMAP 4 processors is based on the CORTEX-A9 kernel. The next generation of OMAP 5 processors will be configured with two CORTEX-A15 cores, which will be available for smartphones next year.
