TNC China Dinner hosted by TNC (Nature Conservation Association) China and "talent" magazine was held in Beijing last night, with Ma Yun, Niu, Chao, Ren Zhiqiang, Jet Li and Zeng attended.

Today is Thanksgiving, I know that every entrepreneur in this room is very busy, we lack the most is time, can be here on Thanksgiving Day, on behalf of TNC China, I would like to express our heartfelt thanks.

One writer has said that in fact, the greatest gratitude is to live up to it. I think everyone here is very lucky, no matter how much we have experienced, but after all we have achieved far more than we pay, so the real consideration of Thanksgiving is that we do not disappoint this era, all of us have to live up to the expectations of the people.

I particularly thank Ouyaping, Zhang, let me touch the TNC. But Zhang the first time to tell me what is TNC, I did not understand, Mesopotamia later put me to the Palau Island. He told me that we were playing together, I was interested in playing a lot, and he turned me into a TNC global board for a few weeks. To say the truth, I fly to Chicago do not know what I want to do, but three days of meeting I particularly touched.

TNC Global Board of 21 people, I was the only one from China, those directors are great, some one or two trillion dollars in the big guy. I thought that the so-called NGO organizations with many of our domestic entrepreneurs talk about the public good, a lot of public relations purposes, so we will not be too serious, but that three days after the meeting opened, I almost want to suck oxygen! I never thought that the old man was so serious and depended on a glass of water, two of cold bread for three days, all the people are fully committed to do their own interests, they are talking about a Africa we have not heard of the river, South America a small village we have not heard of the situation, I was deeply moved.

When I came back, I started to think it was a pretty meaningful thing. I think I do not have to say that today, China's problem is not haze, not water, nor air, I think the biggest problem in China today is waiting. We always think that other people will do something magical action, can change this environment, this is the real problem. In fact, today you blame no one to use, you blame any organization, make the air so bad, make the water dirty, has little meaning, today's question is, we can do something.

So I think for a long time, I think what we lack today is not money, what we really lack is time. As someone said, chasing a girl, when you have no money when you want to give her money that is sincere; When you have money you have to give people time, that is sincere, I think it makes sense.

Everyone here, we are not short of money, but we are short of time, only the time to contribute to the greatest precious. What is missing from China today TNC? Lack of time, lack of energy, the lack of common participation.

In fact, I think TNC China has a very good habit, that is, our meeting time is never more than 3 hours. Many of our directors come from all over the board and are very interested in the fact that we just want to do a little bit and there are a lot of people doing great things. Come here to be some good friends, do something fun, instead of talking about social responsibility, to TNC. I really hate a saying that we do this because of great responsibility, in fact, it has nothing to do with the responsibility, we do this thing is good, like, like with these people together, do something interesting.

Is the so-called mentality impact posture, posture impact on the ecology, today, China's environment is really the core is the Chinese mentality, your mentality is not good, your posture will not be well, bad posture ecology certainly bad, so I think we do not regret one thing is that we do not live up to the next generation. After 60 our grandchildren will say that our grandfathers have been involved in protecting the forest and protecting the river, and that they have done something interesting besides earning money. When I was young, my grandfather pointed to the tree opposite the door of our house and said, this tree was planted by me when I was a child. I don't know if my grandson will ever say this tree is mine, but I think we're all sitting here with this, because your actions, your mindset, will naturally affect your child.

What China lacks today is not money, what China lacks is the attention of the young people, I can tell you that today no matter how impassioned we say, we have to do something for the air, for the water, for food, it is useless. The real change in the world must be young people, everyone is saying that Alibaba is doing internet finance, but the real change of this market is not Ma Yun, but the young people, 20-year-old young people, they change the world, so the only thing we can do to let young people pay attention to, we do is to support those young people, Let them know better than us.

In fact, the biggest difference between public welfare and charity is that charity is a donation of money, a public good is an action, a thing that everyone can do. So TNC really want to do, not to consider what public offerings, is a bunch of friends together, can do their bit to influence the people around us.

So that's what I want to talk about. We do not need to tell others that we are doing more important things, how good things, China today do not say good things, only do what we think is right, TNC is such an organization.
