HP P6000 Eva uses dual redundancy active controller, P6300 and P6500 are equipped with 4G and 8G cache respectively, in the case of 20 expansion cabinets, can support up to 450 pieces of SFF SAS hard drive, maximum capacity up to terabytes TB. P6000 occupies an important position in HP's entire storage product line. As shown in the figure above, HP P2000 is a storage product for the low-end market, for remote office or departmental small applications, and P4000 and HP last year acquired 3PAR for virtualized it infrastructures that are different from traditional infrastructures, 3PAR is more suitable for public cloud service providers, while traditional datacenter architecture chooses P6000 or P9500. This is what Hewlett-Packard has been doing since it offers different features based on different scenarios.
