What is cloud computing?

The word cloud was born in the third quarter of 2007, in English (cloudcomputing), but after only six months, the word was more focused than grid computing.

However, there are at least 100 or more of them that can be explained by cloud computing, until now there is no accepted definition. One of the most widely accepted claims at home is the definition given by Professor Peng, the deputy director of China's cloud computing expert Advisory Committee, that "cloud computing provides scalable, inexpensive, and distributed computing power over the network." Cloud computing is the core of modern virtual technology, with very low cost for the current dynamic expansion of network applications infrastructure.

Cloud computing is a business computing model that publishes computing tasks in a pool of computer resources, allowing users to gain computing power, storage space, and information services based on requirements.

This pool of resources is called "cloud". The cloud is a computing resource for virtualization that can be self-sustaining and managed, typically with large server clusters, including computing servers, storage services, and other broadband resources. The reason why we call it "cloud" is due to some similarities with clouds in the sky: 1. Large scale, 2. Scale can be scaled, boundary blurred; 4. Floating in the sky, unable to fix the exact position. But it does exist somewhere.

Some say that cloud computing is a metaphor for a single generator that transforms into a collective power supply model. means that the ability of cloud computing can also be like the flow of goods into circulation, like gas, water and electricity, in the use of the time convenient, the cost is very cheap.
