There is no doubt that big data will become bigger in 2015. Last year, a variety of companies began contacting or using large data technologies and pushing them into mainstream technology, and this year you will see more of this trend. Many technology giants are expected to deliver new big data products and services this year, while flood-like start-ups will be making headlines over the next 12 months by providing innovative, big-data technologies. I started using big data giants to call the big companies that built the data base in business models, what can we get from them in 2015?

1. google

Google will continue to dominate the search field, but in 2015 we will see it continue to expand in other areas of our daily lives. 2014, Google acquired the smart home pioneer Nest, the latter is also the manufacturer of intelligent thermostat. Nest, after gaining Google support, bought the smart home system company REVOLV, which builds "smart home Center", which connects and controls many household items for smart bulbs, security cameras and automatic doors.

Google's goal is to provide the basic backbone of modern smart home, and the concept of smart home is expected to become a reality in 2015. Google is also expected to launch a child version of its core product, including search for children, chrome and YouTube products and services that further position the technologies it offers as part of everyday family life.

2.Facebook

While Facebook is still the world's largest social network, Facebook is still losing its division in competition with Twitter and Instagram, especially among young users. But Facebook's surprise takeover last year showed it is leading the concept of network communications in a new direction.

At the beginning of this year, consumers are finally expected to buy Oculus Rift virtual reality helmet. Although the helmet was originally intended primarily for gamers, Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has made clear that Facebook will take on the task of building a virtual world in which anyone can explore virtual data and interact with Zuckerberg data. 2015, we are likely to see such a virtual world begin to form.

3. microsoft

Microsoft has been working to mainstream data analysis, and Microsoft's efforts will begin to reap fruit in 2015 as the Powerbi of its cloud-based analytics tools continues to escalate. Microsoft launched the Powerbi in 2013, with the aim of providing analytics for the popular office suite. Microsoft has always wanted new features, such as a dedicated ipad application to analyze mobile data capabilities, dashboard analytics, and the ability to talk directly to SQL databases, which will enable businesses of all sizes to use Powerbi.

4. HP

Like large data service providers such as Amazon and IBM, HP has also issued its own large data analysis platform haven, which can be safely used by cloud technology. This means that the process, from storage, analysis to reporting, can be delivered to Hewlett-Packard, who can save a monthly subscription fee or even completely exempt from the cost of building the infrastructure. This eliminates the barriers to many companies implementing large data strategies and significantly lowers the threshold for entry. The competition between HP's Haven and Amazon's redshift and IBM's DASHDB will lead to lower subscription costs for large data analysis and a significant increase in the number of companies using analytical technology to improve efficiency.

5.IBM

IBM's Watson Analytics has just begun to face the public, which represents a major step in the day-to-day mainstream of data analysis. But its name is confusing because it is also the name of the IBM Artificial Intelligence algorithm. It defeated two of the finest human contestants Ken Jennings (Ken Jennings) and Brad Ruth (Brad Rutter) in the American intelligence game "Jeopardy" in 2011, prompting Jennings to declare "Welcome to our new computer overlord!" ”

This is because it uses a lot of technology developed specifically for Watson Analytics to support its natural language processing capabilities. This means that Watson analytics can use fluent English to interpret the input query. It can provide free online network services, as well as special-subscription enterprise services to provide a larger number of data Analysis Services. Sail)
