Zynga sued Brazilian start-up company Vostu in federal court, saying the latter was infringing the company's intellectual property by copying CityVille games. Vostu has financed 45.9 million of billions of dollars from venture capital companies such as Intel capitals, General Catalyst and Accel. Zynga has also released video comparisons of many game images as evidence. Zynga said that Vostu almost completely copied CityVille, not only game ideas, but also game technology, virtual goods and the storyline is similar to Zynga. Vostu even copied the bugs in Zynga's game.
