1. CSS3 Selector

The property selector. [Attr=val],attr represents the property, Val represents the value. For example: [id=sec]{background:red}.

[Att*=val] Selector. where * denotes inclusion, meaning contains Val.

[Att^=val] Selector. where ^ represents the beginning, meaning is the opening for Val.

[Att$=val] Selector. where $ represents the end, meaning the end is Val.

2. Structural pseudo-Class

< elements >:before/after/first-line/first-letter and so on.

3. Selector

The root selector. Binds the style to the page root element. Example: (: root{background:red}).

Not selector. Excludes the style of an element and child elements. Example: (Body*:not (P) {backgrond:red}).

Empty selector. Makes the content of an element blank. Example:: empty{background:red}
