Step One: use Vs.net to connect to the source VSS library that you want to access to the VSS managed Central Library. Create a local path to the solution in the source VSS library, and if the project is a Web project, you will also be asked to create a local path for the Web virtual path that holds the Web project file; Building the top two directories, you will see the solution in the source VSS library that has been opened in the vs.net, at this time for the first compilation, to see if there is a problem with the solution in the VSS Source Library, if the compilation succeeds, enter our second step;

Step Two: Under the Vs.net "File" menu, turn on "source control"-〉 "Change Source Control" and click "Unbind" in the dialog box that appears, in order to detach the solution from the VSS server and become a pure local file, and then compile the second time. Compile through, close vs.net, open Resource Manager, enter third step;

step three: In the Explorer, find the two directories created in the first step, now that all the project files and Web engineering files under the source VSS library are already in the directory, we need to delete some files related to the source VSS library, use the file search, and find the VSS and SCC files in both directories. Remove all of them after they are found, then enter the fourth step;

Step Fourth: Open vs.net, open the solution file in the directory we created, and at this point we will see that this solution is run with any VSS library, run our third compilation, if compiled, right-click Solution, and select "In the pop-up menu" Add solution to source control, there will be a dialog box to add the solution to source control, enter the project name, click OK, All we have to do now is to wait quietly for vs.net to add the project and project files we have taken from the source VSS library to our own VSS controlled Central Library; After the addition completes, enter step fifth;

Step Fifth: Close the vs.net solution, under the File menu, open source Control-〉 "open from Source control", connect to our VSS Controlled center, open the project solution that you just joined, and if you are prompted to say that the reference file is not found, you need to The right key item in Solution Explorer, add the project's reference path to the project's Properties dialog box, and then proceed to our fourth compilation, which, if compiled, packages the project file through a replication project under the Project menu, which can be used as an executable package for testers to test, then step sixth;

Step Sixth: Check in the solution and project files at this time, close the solution after checking in, close vs.net, turn on VSS Explorer, right-click the project that we checked in in VSS Explorer, and then select the "Label" menu, where you enter version information and comment information for the project , click "OK" to initialize the VSS controlled Central Library Declaration complete, later is maintenance and upgrade.

Method Two:

Note: With the introduction of the previous approach, the mind should have a basic process and basic ideas for versioning using VSS, and this method can be done as follows in the same way as in the previous approach.

Step one: Open VSS Explorer, connect to the source VSS Library, then right-click the project root in the left window of the VSS Explorer, select "Get Latest Version ...", obtain the project file and place it in a specified directory, and close VSS Explor Er, into the second step;

Step Two: Open Explorer, find the file directory specified in the first step, look for all VSS and SCC files from the directory, delete these files after you find them, and then go to step three.

Step Three: Open the VSS Explorer, connect to our own created VSS Managed Center Library, create a project under the library, project name from the actual development project and naming rules to set, after the project is created, enter the fourth step;
