The default version number is as follows:

[Assembly: AssemblyVersion ("1.0.0.0")]
[Assembly: AssemblyFileVersion ("1.0.0.0")]

 

If you need to specify a version number, you can rewrite the number above. But it can also be automatically processed by VS itself, for example:

[Assembly: AssemblyVersion ("1. 0. *")]
// [Assembly: AssemblyFileVersion ("12. 4. *")]

 

In this way, the main and secondary version numbers of the Assembly are manually maintained, and the internal version number and the corrected version number are automatically added. However, note that the file version number cannot be set at this time and can only be commented out.
