01 [switch to Cognos8 Lecture 3] install and configure Cognos8

I. installation environment
Windows XP Professional (SP2) + IIS (or Apache2.2) + SQL Server 2 K (SP4)
Cognos8: Modeling 8.1.2 MR2 windows (File Name: c8bimodel81ml-2.VCD)

Cognos ReportNet Server 8.1.2 MR2 Windows (File Name: crnsrvr81ml-3.VCD)

Cognos PowerPlay Server 8.1.2 MR2 Windows (File Name: cppsrvr81ml-6.VCD)
II, Start Installation
1. Put the c8bimodel81ml-2.VCD into the Virtual Drive, enter the installation folder (win32 folder)
Select Download(2.96 KB)

2. Start installation and start by default. Select the path.

4. All the way to Next

5. Now we are finished. Next we will install other components to put the corresponding CD file into the virtual Optical Drive.
Go to the virtual optical drive and select the win32 folder

Here we should pay attention to two points:
① The path of the installed component must be the same as that installed above.
② This will appear during installation, as shown in figure

Then we can install it by default.
