When you build a MAVEN project, MAVEN examines your Pom.xml file to determine which dependencies to download. First, MAVEN will get Maven's local repository dependency resource from the local repository, and if not, then it will look for downloads from the default Maven central repository.

Search for commonly used jar versions with the following two URLs

  • http://search.maven.org/

  • https://mvnrepository.com/
