Toolbar AreaContains tools that correspond to common operations with IDA. You can use the View▶toolbars command to show or hide the toolbar. You can use the mouse to drag and drop the toolbar, as needed to reset their location
Users can open the Advanced Mode toolbar using view▶toolbars▶advanced mode
Navigation Belt0. Different colors represent different types of file content, such as data or code, with a small current position indicator (yellow by default) to the navigation band address corresponding to the address range displayed in the current Disassembly window

1. Linear view of the loaded file address space, rendering the entire address range of the binary file 2. Right-click anywhere within the navigation band to enlarge or reduce the range of addresses displayed.

3. Hover the cursor anywhere in the navigation band, and Ida displays a ToolTip indicating its location in the binary file. Click, Disassembly view jumps to the location you selected in the binary 4. You can customize the color used by the navigation band with the Options▶colors command

tags represent various views of the database, the tab page, and most of the analysis work needs to be done through the Data Display window
1. The View▶open subviews menu opens up additional data display windows and restores any windows that were accidentally closed or were intentionally closed


Disassembly windowThe Disassembly window (View▶open subviews▶disassembly) is the main data display view 0. It has two different forms: the Graphics Window (default) and the List window 1. In the graphics window, Ida shows a flowchart of a function at a certain time, Can be used to understand how a function works 2. After you open the Ida-view window, you can use the Space BarSwitch between the two, of course, only in the code area, you can change the navigation bar's current position point to Code area 3. List view as the default view: Options▶general menu Open the IDA Options check box, deselect the Use Graph view under the Graph tab By default (using the graphical view as a chart) check box

4. When using a graphical view, the display area is rarely able to display a complete graph of a function at a time. The graphical Overview window (graph overview), which is displayed only when using the graphical view, provides a reduced snapshot of the underlying graphics structure, where the dashed rectangle represents its current display in the graphics view, and a mouse click within the Graph Overview window to reposition the graphical view.



Output WindowThe bottom-most output window displays information about the IDA output. Here, the user can find status messages related to file parsing progress, as well as error messages caused by user actions. The Output window is basically equivalent to a console output device


0. If prompted with the initial auto-analysis has been finished (initial analysis completed), the contents of the Desktop Data Display window will no longer be changed automatically since. At this point, you can make any modifications to the database
Little Tricks0. Use the view▶open subviews command to recover the data display window you inadvertently closed.    1. Use the Windows▶reset Desktop command to quickly restore your desktop to its original layout. 2. Use the Windows▶save Desktop command to save current desktop layouts that you think are particularly useful.    3. Use the Windows▶load Desktop command to quickly open a desktop layout you saved previously. The 4.Disassembly window (either a graphical view or a list view) is the only window that you can modify its display font to 5. Use the Options▶font command to set the font.
