2.1. above we can use the command line to replace the graphical interface of the installation, the use of the advantages of command lines:

A. Fast, the entire process can be completed with just one press-enter.

B. Batch processing. The Exchange system can be customized quickly and in large quantities, which requires command-line scripting.

C. Directly customize the database name. Interface installed database, the default name is very ugly, there is a long GUID dragged behind, do not echo the enterprise naming rules. Although the database name and file name can be better after the installation is complete, this may cause problems with the arbitration mailbox or search function.

For the above completion, use the command line to complete the following:

Setup.exe/mode:install/role:clientaccess,mailbox/organizationname:lianggjorganization
/iacceptexchangeserverlicenseterms

Example:

Install front end:

Setup.exe/mode:install/role:ca/iacceptexchangeserverlicenseterms/targetdir: "E:\Program files\microsoft\exchange Server\v15 "/installwindowscomponents

Install back end:

Setup.exe/mode:install/role:mb/iacceptexchangeserverlicenseterms/targetdir: "E:\Program files\microsoft\exchange Server\v15 "/mdbname:db1/dbfilepath:d:\mdb\exdb\db1.edb/logfolderpath:e:\mdb\exlog

3. Let's simply verify that the installation of Exchange 2013 is successful.

B. Review the installation log

During installation, Exchange Setup logs events in the Application log of Event Viewer on a computer that is running Windows Server 2012. Review the Application log and make sure that there are no warning or error messages associated with the Exchange Setup program. These log files contain the history of each operation performed by the system during the Exchange 2013 installation and any errors that may occur. By default, logs are logged as Verbose . Provides information about each installed server role.

You can find the Setup log files in the <system drive>\exchangesetuplogs\exchangesetup.log. The <system drive> variable represents the root directory where the operating system drive is installed.

The setup log files track the progress of each task that is performed during the Exchange 2013 installation and configuration. It contains the following information: the status of prerequisite checks and system readiness checks that were performed before the installation started, the progress of application installation, and the configuration changes made to the system. Check this log file to verify that the server role is installed as expected.

The A.exchange Administration Center (EAC) is a WEB-based management console that is available in Microsoft Exchange Server 2013 that is optimized for Exchange on-premises, online deployment, and hybrid deployments. The EAC replaces the Exchange Management Console (EMC) and the Exchange Control Panel (ECP), which is a two interface for managing Exchange Server 2010.

One advantage of the Web-based EAC is that you can access the partitions from within the ECP IIS virtual directory to the Internet and Intranet. With this feature, you can control whether users are allowed to access the EAC from outside the organization over the Internet, while still allowing end users access to Outlook Web App options.

Input:HTTPS://<CASSERVERNAME>/ECP Access

With the shell, you can manage every aspect of Exchange. You can enable new e-mail accounts, create send connectors and receive connectors, configure database properties, manage distribution groups, and more. Not only can the shell perform all of the tasks that you can perform through the Exchange Admin Center (EAC), but you can also perform tasks that cannot be done in the EAC.
