Photoshop is arguably a culmination of software that uses its diverse and effective tools to express your ideas vividly. It's also wonderful if you want to make a little modification to the picture before you go online. If you are a beginner in Photoshop, just go on the road to self-study, please read on. We have gathered some tips and techniques to help you start exploring.
Please note that the shortcut keys are set for PC users. Mac users--believe you know how to respond.
Free transform
To resize or rotate the picture, flip or twist the action, first click Edit, then select Transform and choose the action you like. Shortcut keys can simplify the steps: Click "Ctrl+t" near the picture will pop up a transform Form dialog box, so you can adjust the picture. Place the cursor in a rectangular corner, and then press the "Shift" key and drag the corners. Press the "Enter" button and you are done.
If you want to flip the picture horizontally or vertically, press "Ctrl+t" and right-click. There are options for rotation or rollover in the pop-up window. Select the appropriate action and click "Enter".
Similarly, to distort or warp an image, you just use "ctrl+t" and then place the cursor over the corner you want to distort. Press the Ctrl key while pressing the mouse and drag the corners to where you think they are. Click "Enter" to complete the operation.
Change Unit of measurement
A quick way to switch between different units of measurement is to place the cursor on the ruler (show or hide the ruler by Ctrl+r), and then right-click to select a new unit of measurement in the text menu. There are many different units to choose from: centimeters to pixels, millimeters, dots, or even percentages.
Magnetic Lasso
The magnetic lasso tool is extremely handy and can help you track and sketch parts of the image and separate it from the rest to achieve a specific effect. For example, you can separate the product from the background.
The Magnetic lasso tool detects the edges of objects and is very effective when objects and backgrounds are contrasted by the obvious edges. You can find this tool in the Tools panel.
To use a magnetic lasso, you can click the Lasso tool and keep it on, and in the corresponding pop-up menu you can see the bottom of the magnet button. When the button is selected, use the mouse to select the edge of the image. Click on the mouse, then release, and continue along the edges of the selected object (just like using scissors to trim).
Magic Wand
The Magic wand is another choice tool that is ideal for dealing with monotonous, continuous backgrounds. If you have a clear choice of colors in a picture, you can use the magic effect of this tool. For example, a magic wand can easily choose between a white background and a blue sky.
The magic wand can be found from the tool panel and select the pictures you want to select. Be sure to check the "Add Selection" option on the top menu (two-square button) to ensure that the color and hue are saved in the selection.
Using Magic Wand We can choose and remove the Manhattan sky.
Custom Shapes
The tool panel contains the basic shapes you want, such as squares, linear, circles, ellipses, and so on. But if you want to have more extended options, you can click on the custom Shape feature. In the function box, you can easily find the custom button, which is like a dead animal (you think more) button. When you choose, a variety of shape patterns will appear.
The thumbnail of the shape appears on the right side of the custom shape tool. Its choice is rich, even by clicking the arrow on the right side of the panel you can see more shapes. If you're looking for a banner, a dialog box, or a different button, this is the tool you want.
Adjust Layers
No matter what you use Photoshop for, whether it's adjusting the color of the picture, or it's more clear, or enhancing the contrast, the adjustment layer can help. The best thing about adjusting layers is that you don't need to make changes in the picture itself, but on a different layer, so you can tweak it over and over again to find the most appropriate adjustment. You can find it below the layers panel (a black and white circle button).
Use adjustment layers to sharpen the picture to improve the quality of your photos.
Layer Style
There is a simple and effective way to make a picture look more vibrant: a layer style is a special effect that the gram quickly applies on a separate layer. You only need to double click on a layer, you can achieve the corresponding effect.
You can choose from different effects, adding lines or flares, shading and so on, and so many effects just need to click the mouse. Be careful not to overuse, in case the picture looks cheap and low-grade.
It's easy to add lines and shadows to objects and text.
Stain Repair Brush
As you name it, this tool makes things look more beautiful. If you have spots, blemishes, or a mole, then this tool can easily help remove. It is also effective for acne. Place the brush in the area you want to repair, make sure the brush is larger than the flaw and click on it. Photoshop automatically takes samples from the surrounding area and overwrites the selected area, and you don't need to do any other action.
A little bit more simple, no trace of spots.
Lighting Tools
The brightening tool can dilute the pigment used. This is a good tool for red-eye. To set the visualizer as a soft brush, you can select the range setting in the Drop-down menu and select Highlight to adjust the exposure to around 20%. Then carefully brush your eyes with the brush. Also beware of overuse, or models like aliens. A few strokes is enough.
Soft Tools
A simple and effective way to remove fine lines is to soften them. Use the softening tool to smooth and soften a variety of blemishes-such as fine lines of the eye or corners of the mouth-into the background. Once again, remember to be cautious and not overdo it, in case the effect is consistent. Flexibility can be used not only for repairs, but also for many other artistic effects, so be sure to understand them.
With the help of the adjustment layer, Dodge and blur the tool to do the finishing touch of the pen!
