Part 1 ArticleOne advantage of Microsoft products is that they can inherit from each other to develop applications. This article introduces how to use virtual Earth with Microsoft Office Excel. You can customize an Excel plug-in. When you open an Excel file, you can display a map and other information on the map. Does it sound cool? First, describe the Application Scenario. Suppose we have a set of sales data, sales personnel information, and store data. How can we open and display the data in Excel, in addition, sales data is displayed by sales personnel on the map, sales data is displayed by region, and all store locations and sales information are displayed on the map. I will not elaborate on the development process of this application for the moment. Please refer to the following article. Part I: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc531008.aspx.
