LIBGDX projects use Gradle to manage dependencies, build processes, and IDE integrations. This allows you to develop your app using your favorite development environment. Do not submit specific files with the IDE to your source control system.
Configure Eclipse
To develop your app through eclipse, you need to install the following software to configure.
1, JDK 7 and above (JDK 6 is not supported).
2, Eclipse, usually select "Eclipse IDE for Java developers".
3, Android SDK.
4, ADT plug-in.
5. Eclipse integration Gradle, use the following URL:
1) Eclipse 4.4 and above http://dist.springsource.com/snapshot/TOOLS/gradle/nightly
2) Eclipse is below 4.4 http://dist.springsource.com/release/TOOLS/gradle
If you are developing for the iOS platform, the additional requirements are as follows:
1, a Mac, can not be developed in Windows and Linux development iOS.
2, the latest Xcode.
3, RoboVM, install Eclipse plugin. ensure frequent upgrades.
Configure NetBeans
To develop your application through NetBeans, you will need to install the following software for configuration.
1, JDK 7 and above (JDK 6 is not supported).
2, NetBeans version 7.3 and above.
3, ADT plug-in.
4, nbandroid, use this upgrade center: Http://nbandroid.org/updates/updates.xml
5. Gradle support for NetBeans, using the NetBeans IDE Upgrade center.
If you are developing for the iOS platform, the additional requirements are as follows:
1, a Mac, can not be developed in Windows and Linux development iOS.
2, the latest Xcode.
