In October 2013, both OS X and Windows two major operating systems released their latest upgrades--mavericks and Windows 8.1. So in contrast, which upgrade performance is better? CNET, a technology web site, recently wrote about the two newest operating systems:
The author made a comparison with mountain lion and Windows 82 last year, when I concluded that it was a better way for Apple to choose to keep its tablet and desktop operating system independent, while Microsoft's Windows 8 was a complete change and It is not a wise move to ask users to change their habits of use.
And after using Mavericks and Windows 8.1, the author's point of view has not changed. Mavericks has expanded on familiar systems to make the overall experience more efficient, while Windows 8.1 is still struggling to achieve a system-ready target for tablets and PCs. Although it does bring back some familiar features, such as the Start button, its functionality is not as useful as it used to be in Windows 7. In addition, the Metro UI, while beautiful, is still a waste of time for users who use only desktop mode.
