In February 3, The CodeEval community released the most popular programming language in 2014. The ranking is based on thousands of data points. It also shows the programming language trend in the next year and the type of language the company needs most. In this year's ranking of programming languages, Python won the first place for three consecutive years, followed by Java, C ++, and Javascript.

The most noteworthy change this year is that Object-C has increased by 300%, C # has soared by 100%, and JavaScript is also lagging behind by 33%. At the same time, PHP dropped-55%, Perl dropped-16%, and Java dropped-14%.

Another important index ranking is tietong, which is more accurate than CodeEval to grasp the ranking of the language market share. The ranking of popular languages in the industry is more convincing than CodeEval.
