Operational commands for some Linux users

Useradd Creating a user

AddUser Creating a user

passwd Password Change command

Usermod Change the user name, and the user directory

Userdel Deleting a user

ID shows the user uid and GID

Groupadd Creating a user group

Groupdel Deleting a user group

Groupmod changing user group name information

Groups displays the group to which the user belongs

/etc/skel When a user creates a new user and defaults to the location of the configuration

/etc/login.defs is used to define user-created information such as UID GID and the number of days the password is valid

The length of the password, how many days of warning, etc.

There are also some user folders created to create mail folders/var/spool/mail/
