Server Configuration
Nagios also needs a apache+php environment, CentOS6 the default Yum source does not have Nagios-related RPM packages, so install a epel extension source.

Installing Nagios-related packages
[email protected] ~]# Yum install-y httpd nagios nagios-plugins nagios-plugins-all Nrpe Nagios-plugins-nrpe
Set up users and passwords to log in to Nagios background
[Email protected] ~]# htpasswd-c/etc/nagios/passwd nagiosadminnew password:re-type new password:adding password for use R Nagiosadmin
Check for a configuration file for problems
[Email protected] ~]# nagios-v/etc/nagios/nagios.cfgtotal warnings:0total errors:0things look okay-no serious pro Blems were detected during the pre-flight check
Start the service
[[Email protected] ~]# service httpd start; Service Nagios Start
Browser access: Http://ip/nagios
