Timeline is used to set a specific effect at a specific time. With timeline, you can replace an existing image with one image at a time, or you can change the position, size, visibility, and z value of the layer at some time, and you can invoke the behavior action at some time.





Click on the Window\timeline of the menu bar, or use the shortcut key ctrl+f9 directly, that is, the Timeline panel that pops up as shown.

Select box before AutoPlay, will pop up a dialog box, click OK. This is the setting page that automatically plays this timeline when it is opened. In fact, AutoPlay is set to invoke the Paly timeline action with the behavior onload event.


Select the Loop button, a dialog box pops up, click OK. This is set to play this timeline loop. In fact, the loop is set to invoke the Paly timeline action at the last frame of timeline.

The
panel can be divided into three sections below. The ruler of the 1, 5 digits in the middle is the frame ruler. Used to describe the number of frames. The section above the frame ruler is the part that adds the behavior and will display the added behavior here. The section below the frame ruler is the part that adds the image or layer, and the added image and layer are displayed here.

Below is an example used by a timeline.


This example is the use of layers and timeline, the desired effect is a car from the left side of the page to the right, when open to the right, the text "danger!."


This requires two layers. The first layer adds an image containing the car. This layer is positioned to the left of the page when the first frame is played in timeline, and the layer changes to the right side of the page when the last frame is played by timeline. The second layer adds the text "danger!". This layer is always set to be invisible, and when timeline plays to the last frame, the visibility is changed to visible.





first draw a layer on the left side of the Dreamweaver main window and add an image to the layer containing the car. Click on the border of this layer to select this layer. Fill in the name of the layer below the layer ID on the properties panel of the layer. Here, we'll name it a. Then draw a layer to the right of the main window of the Dreamweaver, write the text "danger!" to this layer, set the text size, color and other properties. The first frame of the

Click on the Timeline panel on the item "B", when the originally invisible layer B is displayed on the Dreamweaver main window. On the properties panel of Layer B, select the visible option for the down-drop-down selection box on the Vis. The visibility of layer B is changed to visible.


drag layer A to the right of the window on the Dreamweaver main window. The position of layer B is changed from the left side of the page to the right.
