2.6.39-rc3 + release & kernel Community experience

I have been busy these two days. My colleague is leaving. I have assigned his work to uboot. Although I have never seen it before, I just took this opportunity to study uboot. The amount of code is not large, the architecture is similar to that of the kernel. I have the opportunity to study it.

Since the last weekend, I have not had much time to write logs since I got back from work. I have released some patches and no messages. The maintainer is very busy.

Since yesterday, some patches have been sent to the mailbox one after another. They are very excited and excited. Although some patches have made minor changes, including some cleanup work, but at least, it has contributed to the kernel, and more importantly, it has contributed to open-source. Haha.

I don't know how many patches I have submitted. I have five patches applied in the evening, and four of them are placed in the-mm tree. It can be said that there have been no busy work in the past few days.

In fact, even if it is not used, at least, we have a better understanding of the kernel development process. Such an atmosphere also attracts me deeply, and we exchange technology and code with no care, it seems that I have integrated it into it, and its charm can make you sit at home all day to send a patch, In order to fix a bug, it is a sense of accomplishment and a pursuit of the spiritual hierarchy for an opinion recognized by others. On the other hand, you may be able to show off and say that I have contributed patches to the kernel. Haha, although this is superficial, your contribution to open source is totally worth showing off, it is glorious.

Now the computer is compiling the 39-rc3 kernel, and the computer has a point card. Obviously, I feel that it is not enough. I have to buy another computer someday.

In the morning, I got a battery discharge curve table and calibrated the battery curve. It should be good.

I hope that one day I will focus on kernel development, without worrying about any messy work.
