In30-day agile results: OpeningSpeaking of the following, we will conduct agile results exercises. The previous article learned 17: Find out the efficient time and use it to handle important things. Today we will perform the 18th day of getting result exercises, increase the creative time for every week (Day 18-add creative hours to your week ). In Personal Management-learning = knowledge + practice + thinking + mentalityThis section introduces my understanding of learning. The efficiency time mainly solves the problem of thinking + mentality.

Just like increasing the efficiency time for a week, we can also benefit from increasing the creative time for a week. Record how much creative time a week has. If the time is not enough, plan more and give you more creative time. If you like innovation, this is especially important to you. If you think that you are not an innovative person, use free time and simple thinking, let your brain think freely to explore or discover things.

Creative time is the time for you to think freely

Creative time is a "daydream". It is free thinking: new ideas, new ideas, and simple reflection.Efficient time focuses on results, while creative time focuses on free thinking and creativity.. You may find that efficient time and creative time are balanced. When you have more efficient time, you have more time to think creatively; creative time can change game rules to improve efficiency.

3 common brain thinking modes in work
    1. Creative Inspiration:You are constantly innovating and have a lot of ideas emerging.
    2. Thinking:Your brain is constantly thinking about and processing information.
    3. Routine:You don't need to think about it, do repetitive work, just want to know what to do, and just do it.

Think about how much of your work is in that mode of thinking. Through this understanding, you can better find out when you are in creative time.

Step 3: Increase the creative time
  1. Find the existing creative time
First, find your most creative time in a week. You may find that your creative time is fixed or periodic. For example, your cycling time on the way to work may be a creative time.

    • Try whether you are more suitable for early start or night owl
Some people find that they are more efficient during the day, but more creative at night, and some find that they are not creative in a specific form or in other situations. You can try it out in the early starters and night owls to see if you are more suitable for that model. You may find that this model also changes with the season. For example, you are a night owl in winter, and you are an early starter in summer.
  2. Reserve space for creative time
You may need more time to think creatively. For example, you always want to wait for the deadline to worry about what to do next. You should reserve some space for more free thinking, from that exam 7: Set the Boundary Value and Buffer
  3. Stimulate your thinking
You may need to change some existing models to make it easier for you to enter the creative state. For example, you can simply reflect on what you do at ordinary times, And you will suddenly find that you can work more creatively. For example, some of the following irritating examples can help us think creatively:
      • what is your ideal solution without capital and time constraints?
This helps us understand real business problems or opportunities.
      • from your perspective, what are the worst possible results of this project?
This problem can help us gain value and constraints. For example, the worst possible cause is late delivery, then we can know that time is the main factor
      • assume that nothing changes, what changes will happen to the Organization after one year, and what else does the organization have?
This problem helps us understand the relative closeness of the project and consider environmental factors. This helps us determine the business driving force.
      • what do you say if you must use a simple statement to describe the project purpose? How can this goal help you achieve financial benefits
This problem can clarify the project's stakeholders, because each person may have different opinions, therefore, there will be a small difference under the same goal
      • if we finish this project, we will be about two years later, what will the Organization look like?
This question can help us predict the future of the organization and how people use it to work.
      • What do your competitors do? Do we need the same thing or differentiated content?
in some environments, copying competitors is a reasonable method, but generally a better solution is a differentiated advantage
