Recently I added 1 2 GB memory to x200, with a total memory of 4 GB. However, I found that 32-bit win7 could not use 4 GB memory. Therefore, I decided to change to 64-bit win7. I found a 64-bit anti-virus software in 360 from the Internet. So I downloaded it and installed it.
On the interface, it seems to be 64-bit. However, I accidentally opened the win7 Task Manager and was surprised to find it .... (Oh my god !)
Note that we can see that there is a small * 32 behind 360sdup.exe after 360sd.exe.
This * 32 is different from other EXE files. It aroused my doubts.
Next, we can compare the 64-bit IE and 32-bit ie processes that come with win7 to verify that the system will mark * 32 in the process as long as it is a 32-bit program.
The above is two IE Windows, one is 64-bit IE, and the other is 32-bit IE. It can be seen from the task manager. 32-bit IE has * 32 mark.
Tip: the Internet Explorer (64-bit) menu can be found in the program.
Through the small experiment above, it seems that: 360 anti-virus does not seem to be a pure 64-bit program.
