'Telnet 'is not recognized as an internal or external command

Error message:

'Telnet 'is not recognized as an internal or external command

 

Solution

On win7, Vista, and Windows Server 2008 R2, telnet is not installed by default. The solution to this error is as follows:

1. ClickStart->Control Panel->Programs

2.Turn windows features on or OFF.

3. Scroll down in the list and selectTelnet Client.

4. Click OK to start installation.
