I. General workflow for 3DS Max
The main process for animating with 3DS Max is: modeling → assigning materials → setting up lights → creating scene animations → making environmental effects → rendering a plot.
Modeling: You can establish an object model in your scene by creating standard objects (3d geometry and 2D graphics) and then applying modifiers to those objects.
"Give material": Use the material editor to design materials and textures, giving the model a more realistic model. Surface features can represent static materials, or they can represent animated materials.
"Decorate the Light": the lighting can be arranged according to the illumination scene, and can cast shadows, projection images. The camera can control the lens length and field of view as well as the real world, and realize the function of the camera accurately and achieve the real world effect.
Create scene Animation: Click Auto Key to enable auto-create animation by pressing buttons, drag the time slider, and make changes in the scene to animate the effect.
"Making environmental effects": effects are provided as an environmental effect, and special effects are added to the scene with fog, flames, and Blur.
Render plot: Renders add colors, shadows, lighting effects, and so on to the geometry. Use the render function to define the environment and generate the final output from the scene.
Modeling is therefore the beginning of work, but also the most basic link.
