5 Steps to teach you to simulate infrared photography with PS

Original piece Selection

Find a rich color, and there are more blue pictures, this original piece 75% are blue, very suitable for infrared photography film.

Step one, open the original piece

Open the original slice in PS, then copy the background to layer (CTRL+J) and reverse the layer (ctrl+i)

Step two, color matching

After adjusting the figure below, the picture with orange and blue is the best.

Step Three, channel mix

Layers new Adjustment Layer channel mixer

Color: No mode: normal opacity: 100%

Adjust red in output channel red to 0% Green to 0% blue to 100%

Adjust green in output channel channel green to 100% Red Blue to 0% (default)

In output channel blue, adjust red to 100% green to 0% blue to 0%

Step four, hue/saturation

Create a new fill adjustment layer hue/saturation

Red and magenta channels reduce saturation

Red channel hue to yellow offset

Step Five, Cool filter

Slightly higher brightness

Create a new fill adjustment layer Photo filter

Select the cool filter and adjust it slightly to the appropriate color.
