ApplicationProgramMercury tours is a Web-based travel agent system. Mercury tours users can connect to the Web server, search for flights, book flights, and view flight routes.
LoadRunner supports more than 40 types of applications, and Mercury tours is a LoadRunner example system. Generally, we use mercury tours to learn load testing for Web-based applications.
Install mercury tours
After the Load Runner is installed, We need to manually install mercury tours.
1. Choose Start> Programs> Mercury LoadRunner> samples setup to go to the samples installation page.
2. Select the Web component, install Perl, Xitami web server, and LoadRunner web trainning site.
3. After restart, start the Xitami Server and enable http: // localhost/mercurywebtours/to access mercury tours.

Open the mercury tours Application
Log on to mercury tours.
Type the following information: member name: Jojo password: bean click "Log on" in the left pane ". The welcome page of mercury tours is displayed.
Book flights.
Click flight in the left pane ". The "find flights" page is displayed. Change the destination to Los Angeles. Click continue ".
End your Mercury tours session.
Click logout to log out.
