5G network transmission rate is 250 times faster than LTE, making a new record

SK Telecom in South Korea and NTT Docomo in Japan are all testing 5G networks. Another exciting news is coming out today. According to foreign media reports, Ericsson announced yesterday that their 5G technology hit a new high in the last test, reaching 5 Gbps, that is, it is 250 times faster than today's LTE.

Of course, this record was completed in an ideal laboratory, but Ericsson has repeatedly declared that 5G will be commercially available in 2020.

To raise questions from the industry, Johan Wibergh, head of Ericsson's network business department, retorted, "you should not think that we cannot achieve this speed in reality, ericsson will definitely turn 'test' into 'formal '."
