Ii. Installation Steps

1. decompress the downloaded Oracle Installation File.

 

2. Copy all files in the win64_11gr2_database204 F2 \ database \ stage \ Components folder to the win64_11gR2_database_1of2 \ database \ stage \ Components directory.

Copy all the above files to the win64_11gR2_database_1of2 \ database \ stage \ Components directory. Otherwise, the following error occurs during Oracle11g installation:

6. confirm that the installation option is "Create and configure the Database ".

7. Select the system class as the desktop class. If your machine is only used to install the oracle database and does not run other applications, you can select "server class"

8. Go to the typical Installation option and select the directory, database version, Character Set, Instance name, and password of the System user to install the database.

9. The system checks the prerequisites.

12. After the installation is complete, a prompt is displayed, indicating that the installation is successful, and the directory where the log file is located. You can perform password management to set passwords for different users, the default user name is system.

14. Use sqlplus to connect to the database

Use the system user and the configured password to connect.
