Port, as the name implies, is the channel connecting the printer to a computer or other devices. There are four common printer interfaces: serial port, parallel port, USB port, network port, and Bluetooth and WIFI.
First, you must understand these interfaces. Serial ports are divided into 9-pin 7.1 and 25-pin 7.2

The parallel ports include TypeA7.3 and TypeB7.4.

USB port is TypeB

The network port number is 7.6, which is similar to that of the cash box interface number 7.7. Users are easy to mix up, so be sure to differentiate between them,

If you have read the pictures of the above four interfaces, but you still don't know what to do with these four interfaces, take Jiabo's thermal printer as an example, you can see the interface used by the printer on the printer's self-check page. The self-check operation method is: after the printer is connected, press and hold the FEED button to turn on the printer power at the same time, then release the button in less than 5 seconds, and the printer will print the sample 7.8 from the inspection list. The Interface type is determined by English letters after Interface: on the self-check page. The Serial port is Serial, the Parallel port is Parallel, the network port is Ethernet, and the USB Interface is USB.
