7. I/O flow

The concept of flow: a stream is a set of sequential , starting and ending byte sets , which is the general or abstract of the data transfer. That is, the transmission of data between the two devices is called the flow, the essence of the flow is data transmission , according to the data transmission characteristics of the stream abstracted into various classes, convenient and more intuitive data manipulation. I/O is used to process data transfer between devices.

1, the classification of the stream:

A), by operating data units classification: byte stream , character stream.

b), by flow classification: input stream , output stream .
