1, Kuler
Adobe produced Kuler is undoubtedly suitable for the first demo color software. Many of the features built into the Kuler make it the most famous color scheme tool of all time. For now, let's focus on the most important feature of its own: getting a color scheme from a picture. To perform this function it is easy to start by clicking on the camera icon in the top right corner!
After clicking the picture, Kuler will open the File manager immediately, you can pick out the favorite picture, let Kuler for you to generate a color scheme:
As you can see from this case, Kuler does produce a nice yellow color scheme for dirt. I especially like the circle color picker in Kuler, when you drag it in the picture, the palette adjusts the whole color scheme in real time. When you click the color you want to adjust, the color picker will bypass the bright white edges and choose a color that is more in line with the overall style. Finally, let me praise you once more kuler! it is indeed a pretty good color tool!
2, Photocopa
The color-matching software, called Photocopa, is launched by the COLOURlovers community, which is a colourful control. Photocopa has an obvious community attribute, so you need to register/log in to the COLOURlovers community when you want to use it. Click on the "Sign up" button to complete the registration, if you have an account, directly in the upper right corner of the "Log in" button to use it!
When working with pictures in Photocopa, this image must be a Web image with a URL. As of now, I have not seen the option of importing pictures directly to Photocopa. So if you're dealing with a picture on your computer, you need to upload it to the web first.
By default, you can simply click on the "Colors" tab to start your palette directly. Also, you can go to the "Photos" tab and use photos to grab the color scheme.
After that, you will see the following interface:
In the URL field, type the URL of the photo you want to work with, and then click the "Load Photos" button to load the picture. If you do not have any other need to save, then click OK directly, the software will output the following results:
After that, you can see that Photocopa generates a series of swatches from the picture, and a location where the color is identified in the source image with a grid.
3, Pictaculous
Pictaculous is a mailchimp color software that has only one purpose: get a color scheme from a photo. Its operation is also very direct: click the "Browse" button to select a picture file, click "Get my PALETTE" button to obtain the color version. The case is as follows:
4, Color Palette FX
Color Palette FX is also a "simple rough" software. Click the Select Photo button to select a photo, and the software automatically generates a color scheme, as shown below. The color Palette FX is very wide and will give each color a name, a feature that is deep in my heart!
5, Image Palette
The CSS drive has a palette builder called color pallete. Similarly, you need to click the "Choose File" button to select the photo and press "get PALETTE" to generate the color. Like Colourlover, it generates multiple scenarios and displays the color points through a grid. The results are as follows.
6, Color Palette generator
Like Photocopa, the Color Palette generator only can handle the network picture with the URL, if you choose this tool, you also need to upload the local picture to the network, in order to make it for the software. After you have the URL, click "color-palette-ify!" button, the color scheme is in your bowl! Interestingly, the color scheme that it generates is not just a single set of light black, it will provide you with "dull" and "energetic" two sets of color schemes. Maybe the results in my case are not ideal, but it may be very suitable for you.
7, Colorexplorer
Colorexplorer's operation is similar to the previous software, but if you want to import photos, you need to find the "Image Color Import" button under the "My Palettes" menu to import the pictures. As shown below, you need to click the "Choose Files" button on the left to select the photos, and then click "Upload Image" to upload the photos. The resulting color scheme appears on the right. It is worth mentioning that, at the bottom of the picture, you can choose the software to parse the image of the way, from rough to fine, very interesting.
As you can see, every tool has its own advantages. Because each software generated results are not the same, so I recommend choosing a group of photos, put in each software to test the specific effect, I believe that each software to your experience will be different, you can filter out the most suitable for their own color tools. Good luck!
