As for internal innovation, it is difficult to find the existing organizational structure, performance, and KPI system. Fortunately, we are exploring some "SAR" models, the company also wants to try a new organizational structure.
The organizational structure of a group of people is evolutionary, from a group of people to a division of labor, to the emergence of managers, to the emergence of a hierarchical tree structure, and then to the two-dimensional management of a matrix, basically, in the future, there will be consensus on the relationship between various animals, animals, and microorganisms in a natural ecosystem.
The concept of "company" will change a lot. First, the internal organizational structure is becoming more and more dynamic, and there will be more and more "temporary groups" in the existing tree structure. They get together because of a specific task, the battle is the battle, and the battle is scattered. Second, the company's borders will gradually fade down. More and more tasks need to be completed in cooperation with external personnel, or in the future, many things will be done, it does not need to be recruited, but can be achieved through short-term cooperation.
Of course, this change poses a huge challenge to the company's management model. Companies in a broad sense, such as "schools", "Hospitals", and even "countries", will also see similar changes and adapt to these changes, there will be star teachers, star Doctors, star product managers, star politicians ......
The reasons for this change are closely related to the development of science and technology. We have the Internet, a new tool for information exchange, a public credit record, and a capability endorsement, the "Transaction Cost" will be greatly reduced, which will inevitably lead to a significant reduction in the necessity of some "organizations" and the practicality of "collectivism" values. For example, in school education, it is inefficient to educate a class or a major in batches with the same content.
Therefore, the requirements for individuals will also change as organizations change.
Individuals will become "independent contributors" and participate in the social division of labor and collaboration. In order to do one thing, We will team up on a temporary basis, as shown in many US disasters.
Personal Credit Accumulation, your experience, what you have done, and comments are all on the cloud. You no longer need the endorsement of "XX niuqiang graduated from college, XX great company", but you can give a more direct "participated in XX Project, led XX team to do what ".
In the future, the trend centered on "individual" is inevitable. Don't think about it as soon as possible. How can we accumulate personal brands? Do not simply take "serving any external subject" as the ultimate goal. You need to accumulate for yourself. After a few years, I plan to organize various teams to fight monsters.
