This section introduces more details about the unity user interface functions.
1. Rect Transform
The Rect Transform component corresponds to the Transform component of 2D and 3D images. It is used to specify the size, position, and rotation controls in the user interface system.
Properties
Property: |
Function: |
Pos (X, Y and Z) |
The position of the rectangular pivot vertex of the anchors. |
Width/Height |
Width and height of a rectangle |
Left, Top, Right, Bottom |
The position of the edge of the rectangle relative to its anchor. This can be considered as filling the rectangle defined by the anchor. When the anchor is separated (see below), the Pos and Width/Height are displayed instead. |
Anchors Min |
As a small part of the size of the parent rectangle, it defines the lower left corner of the rectangle. 0, 0 corresponds to the anchor to the lower left corner of the parent level, and 1, 1 corresponds to anchor to the upper right corner of the parent level. |
Anchors Max |
As a small part of the size of the parent rectangle. 0, 0 corresponds to the anchor to the lower left corner of the parent level, and 1, 1 corresponds to anchor to the upper right corner of the parent level. |
Bytes |
The position of the vertex that the rectangle rotates around. It is defined as a fraction of its size as the position of the pivot point. 0, 0 corresponds to the lower left corner, and 1, 1 corresponds to the upper right corner. |
Rotation |
The Rotation Angle of an object around its pivot vertex along the X, Y, and Z axes. |
Scale |
Apply to the scaling ratio of the object in the X, Y, and Z dimensions. |
Description
Scaling andresizing
For Layout purposes, we recommend that you adjust the resize of the UI element rather than scale it. This resizing does not affect the font size, boundary in the sliced image, and so on. Scaling can be used for animation effects or other special effects, when you want to scale the entire element, including font and border, you can set it. Remember that the UI elements become invisible if you give them a negative size. Negative scaling is supported, although (like other game objects), this can be used, for example, to flip an object.
