I recently read a documentary "Internet age" with a friend's introduction. A total of 10 episodes, the biggest feeling after reading this is: I am lucky to live in the 21st century. (Some are from network sorting)

1969: ARPANET)

Apache is the first real network to use the Packet Exchange Technology (at that time, this was a new technology. In October 29, 1969, the computer at Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles, was first connected. In fact, they are the first hosts on the Internet in the future.

The first message sent on the network should be "login", but it is reported that the connection was broken when the letter "G" was sent.

1969: Unix

Another important milestone in 1960s was the start of UNIX: A design for Linux and FreeBSD (today, the most famous operating system among network servers and network host providers) the operating system that has a major impact.

1970: ARPANET Network)

In 1970, a network was established between Harvard University, MIT, and BBN (the company invented the "Interface Information Processor" that can be connected to the network.

1972: vodades (French Network)

In 1972, France began to build its own project similar to Apache, called vodades. Although mongoades eventually closes, the idea is critical: the host is only responsible for data transmission rather than the network itself.

1973: popularity of the first cross-Atlantic connection and email

In 1973, Apache first crossed the Atlantic Ocean and joined a university in London. In the same year, emails account for 75% of all network activities.

1974: the birth of TCP/IP protocol

1974 is a breakthrough year. After a proposal to connect Apache to a so-called "Internet", there will be no central control and a transfer control protocol (eventually becoming a TCP/IP protocol).

1982: First expression

Although many people think that the expression was invented by Kevin macenzie in 1979. But it was in 1982 Scott fahlman used a joke after a joke:-), rather -). The modern expression was born.

1983: computers on the apá network exchange data through TCP/IP

In January 1, 1983, Apache started to exchange data through the TCP/IP protocol developed by Vinton Cerf. Hundreds of computers are connected to vswitches, and the name of the server is also named in 83 years.

1984: Domain Name System (DNS)

The domain name system was created with 1984 and the first Domain Name Server (DNS. Domain Name System is very important, because it makes the address on the Internet more humane than the previous numbers. The DNS server enables Internet users to enter a domain name that is easy to remember, and then it automatically converts it to an IP address.

1988: IRC-Internet Relay Chat

In 1988, Internet Relay Chat (IRC) was first deployed, setting a precedent for today's real-time chat and instant messaging programs.

1988: the first major and malicious Internet-based attack

The first major Internet worm was released in 1988. It is called the "Morris worm" by Robert Tappan Morris, leading to Internet interruptions in most regions.

1989: AOL was born

After Apple launched the applelink program in 1989, the project was renamed, and AOL was born. American online still exists today, and then the Internet became popular among common users.

1989: the launch of the World Wide Web (WWW)

In 1989, the World Wide Web protocol written by Tim Berners-Lee was also born. It was originally published in Macworld's March publication and was published again in May 1990. It aims to tell the European Institute of Particle Physics (CERN) that a global hypertext system is the best choice for CERN. It was initially called "mesh". When Berners-Lee wrote code in 1990, the word "World Wide Web" was born.

1990: the first commercial dial-up internet ISP

The world, the first commercial Internet dialing service provider, was born in 1990. In the same year, Apache stopped using it.
