(Online connection tutorial is not complete, small white may be difficult to understand, the original tutorial, reproduced need to note the source and author)
The first step:
This assumes that we already have the environment in which the WINSCP software is running (a Windows operating system and a Linux server). WINSCP Software installation package has been downloaded, if not download, Baidu search in the input winscp, out of the first is Baidu Software Center provides download link, download this can.
Step Two:
Double-click Open WINSCP Software installation package, follow the Installation wizard step by step configuration.
Step Three:
Double-click to run the program, open the WINSCP main interface, as follows: (Occlusion is my IP address)
Fourth Step:
First, the site is saved, in the main interface left column, for the new site configuration and save the display of the site. Click "New Site", in the right column to configure the file protocol, host name, port number, user name, password, saved in the left column display. Here's how:
1. Click "New Site", 2. Select the file protocol, default to SFTP, enter the hostname of the Linux server (typically the IP address of the Linux server), port (22 if not modified), username and password.
So how does the Linux IP address get it? Operation under Llinux: Enter command: " ifconfig-a " (under root user)
3. Click Save to pop up the dialog box, such as:
Fifth Step:
An easy-to-identify name for the saved site and placed in the appropriate folder for unified management. In this dialog box, there are two options: Save password and create desktop shortcut. For security reasons, we recommend that you do not enter a password when saving the site, here the "Save password" option, if you save the site is a common site, you can create desktop shortcuts, easy to use.
At this point, the work of a site saved on WINSCP is complete.
The next step is to log in to the Linux server using WINSCP.
- If your site has been saved in WinSCP, you can directly find the site's storage name, click on the bottom right corner of the login, if not saved, you can create a new site, enter the Linux server login of the equivalent information, click Login.

Many people will not be able to login, why??
This behavior occurs because SSHD is not installed.
Install "sudo apt-get install yum" first
1. Enter "sudo apt-get install openssh-server" to wait for the installation, then enter "Y"
2. Enter "sudo ps-e |grep ssh"-and enter-with sshd to indicate that the SSH service has been started
If it does not start, enter "sudo service ssh start" and the Enter-->SSH service will start.
Then log back in again, and then sign in to show this:
This completes the installation, and the file transfer is much more convenient.
