A few simple ways to view the Redhat Linux version __linux

It's easy to log on to a running Redhat Linux server to see its version of the system, and here's a few of my own common methods.
Method One:
View Redhat-release Files
[Root@server ~]# Cat/etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux as Release 4 (Nahant Update 8)

Method Two:
View issue Files
[Root@server ~]# Cat/etc/issue
Red Hat Enterprise Linux as Release 4 (Nahant Update 8)
KERNEL/R on an/m

Method Three:
Using the Lsb_release command
[Root@server ~]# Lsb_release-a
LSB Version:: Core-3.0-ia32:core-3.0-noarch:graphics-3.0-ia32:graphics-3.0-noarch
Distributor Id:redhatenterpriseas
description:red Hat Enterprise Linux as Release 4 (Nahant Update 8)
Release:4
Codename:nahantupdate8

The above is my three commonly used to view the system version of the method, if you have a better way, please let me know.
