At present, MindManager on the network basically no Chinese material, its own "welcome" map also only English version. Cause a lot of friends to the use of this tool is not enough knowledge. Today I put my use of experience to share, I hope to be helpful to everyone.
Basically, MindManager user interface is relatively friendly, as long as there are some office, Novamind, such as the use of software experience, without any special training can immediately get started. But this software has some innovative features, and I hope to help you master the usage of these features as quickly as possible.
- Basic Mouse Keyboard operation
Starting with basic mouse and keyboard operations, these tips can greatly improve your efficiency with familiarity:
1. Enter to create a sibling node, the "Insert" key to create a child node, "shift+ carriage return" key to insert a sibling node before the current node, "ctrl+shift+ carriage return" Creates an illustration node
2. Toggle the selection node up or down. When the node is selected, press F2 to edit the text (mouse click can also), if you do not use the Input method, direct typing can be edited. This function is very useful and can help you to complete the map editing without the mouse.
3. Drag and drop the entire map with the right mouse button on the background of the map, and hold down the CTRL key to scroll the mouse wheel Zoom guide. Very useful features!
4. Use the left mouse button to draw a frame on the map (just like in StarCraft) you can select multiple nodes at the same time. You can also press and hold the CTRL key to select/not select nodes.
5. Press Ctrl+d to toggle the number of expansion layers for the child nodes of the currently selected node
6. Basic and Office-like, CTRL + Z Undo, Ctrl+y Redo, ctrl+s Save, Ctrl+w close document, Ctrl+o open document, CTRL + N New Document
7.F11, switch to fullscreen!
MindManager layout function is one of his magic weapon, very characteristic, in the humanization aspect to do is very outstanding, once mastered a few small tricks, you can easily use it to make almost any effect you want.
1. The first is the basic drag and drop, see:
When the mouse moves over the node, it floats the drag-and-drop icon, which changes the structure/position of the node by dragging and dropping the different parts of the icon.
2. Want to put a picture somewhere in the mind map and not want to affect the location of the other nodes? It's easy to click on the image/shape you inserted to "right-click menu = layout =" Ignore shape when layout is "OK. Select "Right-click menu =" Arrange = "put to first/last" to set the order of the picture/shape overlay.
3. Drag the node to a mess, regret it? No need to hurry, select "Right-click menu =" Layout = "Arrange children" on the parent node to rearrange the position of the manually dragged child nodes. You can also reset the location of the child nodes by tapping the right-click menu = layout = Reset location on the child nodes.
- Picture and Node settings
1. Unlike ordinary mind map software, mindmanager node size you can arbitrarily adjust, select the node and drag the edge of the node sizing tool. Once the feast point is manually adjusted, a "lock" icon appears next to the mouse over the node, and the node size can be reset by clicking.
2. Click the library icon in the lower right corner of the window to open the Media Library. Drag and drop the picture onto the node, choose a location to insert the picture, there are six insert options are top, bottom, left, right and floating nodes, background map.
3. Drag the Resize tool next to the picture to adjust the picture size. The maximum size of a picture is limited by the size of the node.
4. Right-click on the image to choose how to deform the image. (Three types)
5. You can drag and drop the picture from one position in the node to another, or you can drag and drop it directly onto the other node. You can copy a picture to the target node by holding down the CTRL key while you drag and drop.
1.MindManager provides some pre-set templates, but I prefer to format them in his Advanced Format dialog box. Right-click and select shape format to bring up the Advanced Format dialog box. Note that the MindManager Advanced Format dialog window is not the same as the modal dialog box in the MindManager Format dialog window, and you can continue editing without closing the Advanced dialog box. So I usually quickly complete the entire map, and then bring up the Advanced dialog box to format. You can format multiple nodes at once, just select multiple nodes and set them up.
2. Set the parent node's format and want the child nodes to use a similar format? Check the parent node, there will be a "apply parent to Child" button under each formatting interface, click, OK
