A cartoon program written recently in Win8

Win8 is about to be released. I am going to buy an ARM-based tablet to watch cartoons and novels. I have studied WPF in my spare time, but have not developed winphone or Silverlight. Although the winrt program syntax is similar in general, it feels a lot more functional than WPF. The shadows, glow, relief and other special effects I like are all gone, and the most painful thing is that tilebrush is gone, commonly used cliptobounds and other layout settings are also gone (it is estimated that winphone is also castrated ). Winrt looks simple, but it is not easy to design. I didn't have any art cells, and I just had to take a rest when I lost these common beautification setting methods. I had to build a few crumpled interfaces.

In addition, the winrt Library and the. NET Standard Library are also quite different. There are many differences in files and asynchronous operations, and the metro program model and WPF program are also quite different. In terms of open tools, Visual Studio has very powerful functions, and the smart prompts of XAML are very powerful. Apart from slow speed and unsupported animation design, it is basically no different from blend. The blend for Win8 provided by Visual Studio does not even display any smart prompts (however, Microsoft's blend 5 preview version is still awesome, but it does not support Metro program development ).
