A P4 encoding problem

It is not a big problem, but it can be blocker-level.

A new test machine, Win8 English version. After the IDE environment is installed, the project result is displayed as follows:

"The project file cocould not be loaded. '.', hexadecimal value 0x00, is an invalid character"

The result is the P4 connection encoding problem. When I installed P4, I did not pay attention to the connection encoding option. The next step was to take a look. On Windows in English version, the P4 connection encoding itself is different from the Chinese version, as a result, the encoding option is incorrect, resulting in an incorrect character encoding in the project XML file.

Solution:

Select the encoding component and the server (you can ask the data manager of each project, or see what the good P4 connection is), and then force sync.
