Add a shadow Effect

In the Toolbox, select (Shadow Tool), and then select the object you want to make a shadow effect on. (Take the green oval here for example).

Press the left mouse button above the object, and then drag the mouse toward the projected projections direction, where the dashed outline of the object's shadow appears. Adjust to the appropriate location, release the mouse to complete the addition of shadow effects.

Two edit shadow Effects

In the property bar of the Shadow interface, you can edit the shadow effect, with a preset list, including additions. Deletes a preset. Shadow offsets, angles, opacity, and the adjustment of feather values, and so on, are not covered here. Interested friends can try it on their own.

Apply the Shadow tool to drag the white rectangle knob in the middle of the shadow control line to adjust the opacity of the shadow, the closer the opacity of the white square, the lighter the shadow; The closer the opacity of the black square (or other color), the thicker the shadow.

How to change the color of the shadow? Here are two ways:

1. Find the shadow color in the property bar, select the color click.

2. Drag the color swatch from the palette to the black square with the mouse, the color of the box becomes the selected color, and the shadow color changes to the selected color.

A shaded effect that is dynamically connected with the selected object changes the shadow as it changes the object's appearance.

Three-split Shadow

Use the Selection tool to select objects and shadows, and then select objects → split shadow groups (Ctrl+k).

After you split objects and shadows, you can select them separately with the selection tool.

After you split a shadow group, you can use the shadow tool to add shadows to a diagram multiple times.
