A letter from Franklin's thirteen people
Question: Franklin of the United States and modern Schwarzenegger, Zeng guofan of modern China and Li Ka-shing of Modern China are examples of my life.
Next, I extract Franklin's 13 articles of life.
1. Moderate: you cannot eat too much or drink too much.
2. Silence: do not be bored. It is helpful to talk about people.
3. Order: The items of life should be placed in order and work hours should be reasonably arranged.
4. determination: make up your mind to do what you want to do.
5. Frugal: Do not waste it. Any cost is beneficial, whether it is for yourself.
6. Diligence: cherish every moment of time, remove unnecessary actions, and do useful work diligently.
7. sincerity: no harm to others, no deception. We should consider the case fairly and reasonably, and make the speech based on the actual situation.
8. Justice: Do not harm others and fulfill their obligations.
9. Moderate: Avoid any extreme tendencies and try to restrain retaliation.
10 clean: clean your body, clothes, and residences.
11. Calm: eliminate unnecessary troubles. That is, things that are trivial, common, and inevitable and not smooth.
12. Chastity: less housework, never make the body weak, poor life, unless for the sake of health or the needs of future generations. Do not damage your reputation or peace of mind.
13. Humble: take Jesus and Socrates as examples.
1 moderate Temperance
Eat not to dullness and drink not to elevation.
Food cannot be full or drunk.
2. Silence
Speak not but what may benefit others or yourself. Avoid trifling conversation.
It is helpful to avoid chatting.
3. Order
Let all your things have their places. Let each part of your business have its time.
The date of occurrence.
4 Determination resolution
Resolve to perform what you ought. Perform without fail What you resolve.
As a must-do, perseverance.
5 frugal Frugality
Make no expense but to do good to others or yourself: I. e. Waste nothing.
It is not a waste of resources.
6 diligence and industry
Lose no time. Be always employed in something useful. Cut off all unnecessary actions.
Cherish the light and do useful things.
7. Honest sincerity
Use no hurtful deceit. Think innocently and justly; and, if you speak, speak accordingly.
Treat others with sincerity and make your words and deeds consistent.
8 Justice
Wrong none, by doing injuries or omitting the benefits that are your duty.
Do not do anything when the victim is harmed.
9 moderate moderation
Avoid extremes. forebear resenting injuries so much as you think they deserve.
Do not go to extremes.
10 clean cleanliness
Tolerate no uncleanness in body, clothes or habitation.
The clothes are neat and the residences are clean.
11 mentality tranquility
Be not disturbed at trifles, or at accidents common or unavoidable.
Not in danger.
12 chastity
Rarely use venery but for health or offspring; never to dullness, weakness, or the injury of your own or another's peace or reputation.
Cherish your body and extend your mind.
13 humble humility
Imitate Jesus and Socrates.
