A middle school instructor's speechless monologue(Reprinted)
After more than a month of schooling, I found that with the fresh and exciting enrollment, many students gradually become tired of learning due to the heavy academic burden. In their view, learning is not a pleasing thing, but a burden on the ground. From their essays, we can see that they learn to repay their parents, and they learn to work in the future. In their hearts, learning is a heavy cross. Even if they don't want to, they must bear it. They suffer, and they suffer.
I felt sad, especially when I saw a face that was tired, numb, and had to learn, and there was a kind of unspeakable sorrow in my heart. I don't know what to say to them. I can only tell them that the reality is like this. You must face it, and you can only face it. You cannot change the reality, but you can only change yourself. In order to be admitted to college, you must enter this hell. However, looking back at my own words, I found my cruelty. They are only in their teens. Should they live such a monotonous and boring life every day? How do I feel if I change to a student? I cannot answer myself. Let's look at their lives. Get up at six o'clock every morning. After you have a meal, you can start a day's morning reading. Next, I listened to the teacher for teaching at four sessions in the morning, followed by lunch and lunch break (few students can take lunch, which I know from my daughter ), next, I will listen to three classes in the afternoon. After school, I will eat again. Next I will study three classes at night. I will listen to the teacher's handouts, digest what I learned, and handle my homework. If the time is not enough, continue to stay up late. As far as I know, students seldom go to bed before every night. Then, let's look at homework, Chinese, mathematics, English, physics, and chemistry, geography, history, and various disciplines. In addition to listening, practicing, reciting, and practicing every day, students also have to take the January 1 exams, sometimes even more. In this way, we will continue from day to day. Is that what they should have lived? Is this the whole of their lives? How much time do they have? What deprived them of their precious time? What deprived them of their right to govern their own lives? Look at the busy and helpless students, I have no words.
I think of Mr. Ye Shengtao's words. He once said that education should free the children six times: "1. Liberate his mind so that he can think. 2. Liberate his hands, to make him competent; 3. to free his eyes, so that he can see; 4. to free his mouth, so that he can talk; 5. to free his space, let him learn more in the Great Society of nature. 6. Free him of time, not to fill his homework tables, nor to force him to take an exam, if you don't join your parents in your homework, you should give him some free time to digest what he has learned, learn what he wants to learn, and do what he is happy to do." But what is the reality? How do we educate students? I feel that Mr. is not only an educator, but also a prophet. When he was alive, he had predicted the development of education in China for several years. isn't he talking about the current education situation? I am speechless to face mr.
What's wrong with education? When the times are constantly evolving, society is improving day by day, and human nature is being publicized day by day, our education is on a malformed Road, and even regresses! What kind of talents do we need to cultivate? What do we regard students? Every day, students should be confined to a cold cement building. Should they be filled with boring exam-taking knowledge like a group of ducks? What we want is an exam-taking machine? How much space does we give students to think independently? Are we tolerant of students' personalized thinking? How many independent learning rights have we given students? Have we consciously guided students to learn knowledge from nature and society?
Students are living people. When they grow up, they need not only the learning of cultural knowledge, but also the cultivation of moral qualities and the guidance of emotional psychology; they also need the accumulation of Humanistic Qualities and the stimulation of personal thinking. They also need the education of professional ethics and the cultivation of social viability. They need to be close to nature and feel the warm sunshine ------, all these are the basic rights they deserve as a person. What does our current secondary education give them? Who has deprived them of their right to be human? As a teacher at the grassroots level, I cannot answer these questions. I just think that I am an accomplice, an executioner, and an executioner killing the individuality of students! I'm speechless.
I read an article on the Internet a few days ago entitled "there is a distance between China and the Nobel Prize to change the lack of innovative education system". When talking about the innovative spirit of the Chinese, the author said a few words: "The lack of such innovative spirit is determined by our current education system. Under the current education system, the only indicator to measure the level of a school's education is the rate of enrollment. Under the command of the College Entrance Examination baton, the school's focus is on improving the percentage of students and teachers. The pursuit of examination scores has reached a crazy situation, rote memorization is a magic weapon to win high scores." I can say that Chinese people will never be innovative if they do not treat students as individuals or students as individuals in one day!
I think of Confucius again. The old man who sat down with his students thousands of years ago and talked about his theory. They just want to be a person with a complete mind and a person with a personal mind. Sincere and easy communication: There is no tedious work and no pressure on people. Embrace nature as you like. "The Spring Festival, spring clothes, five or six people with the title, six or seven children, have a bath, and dance with the wind ." In this world of education, what we have here is a unique and open personality, a freely stretched mind, and a harmonious blend of heaven, Earth, and people! Confucius impressed me forever. His educational behavior is always an example of learning. However, I dare not practice it, at least now. I know that I have several swords hanging on my head! When I think of Confucius, I have no words.
