Many people learn foreign languages by translating them into Chinese.
This is understandable, but there are also many types of translation.
One is transliteration.
The second is literal translation.
The third is free translation.
For literary works, or even common works, free translation is very suitable. However, the free translation does not help you learn a foreign language, but it has negative effects.
Learning English with a free translation is equivalent to reading a very authentic Chinese, and then hoping to learn authentic English, which is impossible.
The so-called language difference lies in its inherent uniqueness of cultural thinking. Indians just nod their heads. If we do not translate it, we do not know that such a strange culture exists. Literal translation can retain the thinking and cultural form of a language to the maximum extent. Although it may have a very strange feeling in a short time, it is a conflict between different cultures. Only by understanding this conflict, to really understand this language.
Learning a foreign language is not just about knowing what it means, but about integrating into a new culture and using its mind to look at things. This is a truly nutritious language learning process.
