A new method for remote control of target Word_ vulnerability of Trojan virus

Microsoft Word users should be cautious about downloading files because hackers are making waves from a bug that has not been fixed in this popular word processing software.
According to IDG, the U.S. local time in Thursday, security company McAfee warned users that a Trojan virus named Backdoor-ckb!cfaae1e6 would secretly install software on the computer.
However, to make the Trojan virus infect the computer, the hacker must first trick the user into opening a malicious Word document. Once a user opens a malicious file, it can have serious consequences.
In a statement posted on its website, McAfee said that once the Trojan virus "camped out" on the user's computer, it would allow the hacker to "execute arbitrary external commands, download other Trojan viruses, obtain a screenshot of the computer, monitor and record the user's keystrokes or passwords."
Unlike viruses and worms, Trojan horse viruses do not propagate by replicating themselves. Hackers will publish spy pieces directly, and spyware is often disguised as a useful or interesting download file by hackers.
Symantec confirms that hackers are spreading backdoor-ckb!cfaae1e6 in the form of malicious word email attachments, but it is currently only used to attack selective targets. Symantec says the Trojan virus can make waves on Microsoft Word 2003, although it can cause Word 2000 to crash, but will not be installed on the system.
McAfee considers its risk level to be "low" because the malicious code must be downloaded before it can be infected.
Microsoft officials did not immediately comment on the Trojan virus.
