A simple method for defining fourcc constants (C/C ++)

Source: Internet

Fourcc actually represents a four-byte integer in C/C ++. The method in Baidu encyclopedia is

# Define make_fourcc (A, B, C, D) \ (uint32_t) d) | (uint32_t) c) <8) | (uint32_t) B) <16) | (uint32_t) a) <24 ))

There is a simpler way to directly use characters to represent fourcc.

Int fourcc = 'abcd ';

0x61 62 63 64

'A 'B' C 'D'

It can also be used in Enumeration

Enum playeraction

{

Pa_move = 'move ',

Pa_jump = 'jump ',

}

You can also use

Switch (VAL)

{

Case 'move ':

// Do move action

Break;

Case 'jup ':

// Do jump action

Break;

}
